These are the posters that i was influenced by to be able to make our own tour date for our music artist. These poster that i was influenced by are also the same genre of our music artist. 

New photoshoot.

As you can see from our new Photoshoot pictures they are a lot better then recent pictures that we have took of the music artist. These are all a lot better quality and are a lot better for the fans, these will then be added to the Digipak and the website.

Website feedback.

Gracestarr
The Gracestarr website has a good layout and looks like it is almost complete. All the information on the website is appropriate and tells you everything that you would want to know about the music artist. Everything on the website has what a professional music artist website would have. The only thing that could be improved is filling up the empty space on the pages that have large spaces free. All the pictures on the website all look professional.

Encoded
Encoded website at the moment is quite basic. It tells you small information about when the album is out, what the album is called etc. An advantage of the website is the countdown, This hasn't been used before, its a quick easy way to know when the album is coming out. The disadvantage of the website is many of the pages haven't been completed, such as the gallery page, This doesn't have any pictures of the band on the page. The only pictures that they do have are on the home page, this is good and bad, good because it shows you who the band are as soon as you go onto the website, and bad because they are the only pictures and should be on the gallery page as well.

James Cosmo
The Cosmo website has a good layout throughout the whole website. Every page has a picture of who the music artist is. The best page is the gallery page that has the most pictures on them, with a good layout and a small bit of information. There are a few pages on the website that have a lot of empty space and can be filled with more information about the music artist. An advantage of the website is as soon as you get onto the home page you see the music artist identity straight away.

Hybridbeauty
The Hybridbeauty website gives the band a good identity as soon as you go onto the website. It shows you a good professional picture of the band, as well as a video trailer of the band. The website looks good with a different picture on each page, The only disadvantage on a couple of the pages is that the background picture and the text clash, as they are both black and white and this makes it hard to be able to read. Another thing is there are no pictures on the gallery page.

Alleyways 
Alleyways website has a good identity as soon as you go onto the website, Shows you pictures, album release, and album songs, This website also has a different layout to many other websites you would see. The gallery page is one of the best pages it has good professional pictures, that gives you the option to see only some at the same time meaning you don't see all the pictures at once. All the pages have the same layout. The only page that could be worked on is the video page that has a lot of free space that can be taken up by different information about the videos.

Alexecho
The Alexecho website shows professional pictures of the music artist as soon as you view the website. The information that has been put on the page has taken up the whole page meaning there is nothing to fill as it also has a picture of the music artist on the page as well. More pictures could be added to the gallery page that have a different location and the links to the twitter, Instagram and Facebook page could be linked. A few more bits of merchandise could be added for the fans.

Jamescouleur
As soon as you go onto the website it asks you to follow the music artist on Facebook. This is a good way to show fans how to connect with the artist. The twitter feed coming up at the side of the home page is also a good way for the fans to be able to connect. The tour dates show you a good collage of picture of the music artist. The gallery page also has lots of professional pictures on there. The only page that has a lot of free space is the album page that doesn't show you the album cover on the page.

This is some of the merchandise that has been created for the fans of Nicholas Alexander fans. The merchandise can be bought by fans from the official website of the music artist. These are just some of the items that will be sold.

Website progress

This is the gallery page on our website, the gallery is the one page that has changed the most throughout the website. This is because the pictures that were originally on the gallery page didn't look professional and weren't good enough to be able to present on the music artist website. The one thing that we kept on the gallery page was the passage that is written next to the pictures, This passage tells you a lot about Nicholas Alexander and this is something stable enough to keep.

This is a page on the website that needs to have a little more work done on it, This is because the pictures that you can see at the top of the page are black and white picture that aren't Nicholas Alexander. The pictures need to be changed so that it does show the music artist although the black and white pictures give off a good effect.

This is our 'contact detail' page. There isn't a lot more that we could put onto this page apart from the obvious information that needed to be on there. For ideas of what to put into onto our contact page we looked at other music artist websites.

This is our bio page and it tells you a lot about Nicholas Alexanders life. All of the information on this page is Nicholas Alexanders life and tells you all about how he started. There is one thing that lacks on this page and this is the image you see. The image will be changed to a better picture.

Talent 
Nicholas Alexander has not had his big break yet after reading the article about talent. Nicholas Alexander has spent loads of his time working on his music video, he has been to many different locations for the music video to make sure that everything he has filmed is good enough for his fans. Nicholas Alexander is trying to make the best identity for himself.  The locations that Nicholas Alexander has used hasn't been costly and has a lot of money. The only thing that has cost for the music video was the props that were used such as the costume and the bike. This all saves a lot on investment. Nicholas Alexander is going to have to be aware of the talents that he does have meaning he has more confident in himself and shows his fans what he can really do. Nicholas would be constantly reminding himself of the talents he already has and what he can do in the future to improve. This is more important for him then the big break. After Nicholas works more and more on his talent and he is comfortable with what he was doing it would be the right time to take the big break, but the most important thing is talent and how strong Nicholas is with his talent. Nicholas Alexander is the happiest when he is involved in filming and singing for his music album. He is going to do his best to make his fans happy. Due to creating his music video and spending a lot of his time on it Nicholas Alexander hasn't really been following the advice. This is something that Nicholas Alexander must improve on.

Nicholas Alexander has benefited massively on social media, This is because of the different social media attractions that he has, such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram as well as his official website. This is all for his fans. By having all these things it makes Nicholas Alexander have more popularity, this could make him bigger and boost his confidence to make more and more fans happier with what he does. Nicholas is working a lot on his product, as said one of the major challenges of an unsigned artist is the facing the product. As Nicholas Alexander is working so hard on all these things soon he will complete the product he needs. As Nicholas Alexander is creating his music video is he already succeeding in this regard.

Reflection on blog.

A lot has been done on the blog lately to make sure that i am keeping up to date with what needs to be done within the group i am working with. my aim is to get to at least 100 posts.
After finishing the posts that i was aiming to blog i set myself some targets of;

• Make sure i finish more blog post before starting a new one. 
• Analyze each post more. 
• Improve grammer.

In order for me to achieve these 3 targets i need to make sure i check over every blog posts once i have completed the task.

Record label

I decided for this record label that it wouldn't be too outgoing and would still have bold letters, picture and colours. The record is called 'Boundless' because its a catchy one word name which is what  many record labels have and is also distinguishable. The colours that i have used are also the colours that are used within the Digipak.

Target Audience

We decided to investigate our Target audience by asking them to complete a survey. Our music video is based around a love story. Our video is very calm and only has very few locations. We wanted to find out what the target audience of the people we had to survey what they enjoyed through a music video, what sort of music they listen too, if the album cover depends on whether they are buying the album or not, many questions like this were asked. The results of the survey were:

How is the UK audience consuming music?

From the chart that is above you can see the most popular way of streaming music is done by YouTube. YouTube is the most popular website to listen to music and is used everyday, because of YouTube being so popular CD's that used to be the most popular way of listening to music have now gone down to the lowest.

As you can see below it also depends on the age of the person as to how they listen to music. If you was to have an older customer they are most likely to listen to music by a CD as they wouldn't all have the knowledge to know how to stream from a website. The age of 18-24 are the ages that are most likely to stream through websites such as YouTube. Free streaming now accounts for one fifth of people ages 18 - 24.

Prospective website

As you can see the two above screenshots are the potential website ideas that we come up with for the artist Nicholas Alexander. The first screenshot is the first idea that we come up with and as you can see is quite plain and doesn't show a lot. The water blue effect that we carried on for our website is only at its foundation stage on the first homepage of the website. Between both of the screenshots of the websites both are quite different, on the second website you can see their are a lot more pictures of what Nicholas Alexander gets up too, it isn't as plain as the first homepage we come up with.
The first major differences between both of the websites are the background, again acquired from the footage, it carries on with the watery blue effect and the website then becomes more appealing and likable to look at.

Prospective Digipaks - Front album cover

These are the three potential front album covers that we come up with.  As you can see the different covers have been made better over the time spent on them. The first album cover was one that we thought of when we first started the music video and gradually come up with more ideas as we carried on. Clearly our third idea was the best of the three, signifying our improvement within Photoshop. We improved a lot of different aspects such as the blue water theme across the album covers as well as our digipak and also the website.  One disadvantage for the first album cover we come up with was that we didn't give Nicholas Alexander the distinguishable identity and screen presence. We took this on board in the second album cover where you can clearly see the identity of Nicholas Alexander, however as  you can see the picture and the way the cover was put together made it come out blurry, the album cover needed to be better as it would be the first thing the fans would see when buying the album cover.
The third album cover that we come up with was completely by accident, when filming again at a new location we found a nice calm environment that was perfect to film and take images for Nicholas Alexander, This location had great lightening for the filming to take place. We took one of the still images from the location and used it as an album cover, we added the blue effects and as you can see worked out a lot better then the second album cover that we thought we were happy with. You can see that the images aren't blurry the title works well and the effects are still the same.

Prospective Digipaks- Back album cover.

These are two of the album back covers that have been created and as you can see they are different in a lot of ways. The original back cover the cover had a theme to  it. Which is we are unsure on the direction that Nicholas Alexander wants to go. Our second album cover has a lot more to it it has the same sort of benefits for the covers. we used the footage that we had taken for our music video to use for the album cover. This shows Nicholas Alexander identity has been followed by real life convention. The second album cover also includes the generic copyright Jargon on the back, with an ID number too which  makes it look more realistic and professional.

Feedback

We showed our new music video to some of our class mates that what we had got so far with our new footage and songs. What we had showed them was just the performance their was no lip synching in this part we still needed to add this in. The feedback that we had got back was that ;

• Bike shot was a good idea, works well with the songs.
• Keeping one of the shots from the older performance was a good idea.
• The bike shot went on for too long. 
• Good location shots, and long shots within the filming.

New song lip synching task.

This is the new song that we have chosen. The music artist in the song doing the lip synching is who is going to be in the whole music video in our group.

Late change of song.

we had a late change of song due to the song that we had chosen before being very well known and popular. Meaning that it was harder to make a video that would attract a lot of fans that listen to that sort of music. We changed to this song as it has the same genre the filming that we already had before is relevant and still fits in with the rest of the song.

Top 20 single charts

There is alot of differnt genres of music within the top 20 single charts. Some of the genres are quite similar. The similarities between all of the songs is that they are very dancy, up beat and popular. they are songs that would be listened to over and over again and you wouldnt get bored of. some of the songs are really upbeat or slow and calming songs. i think that our song thinking out loud would fit into slow calming songs. Most of these songs have an audience of teenagers and young people. songs such as Taylor swift - shake it off and One direction - steal my girl are popular songs and are listening to alot by the younger generation.

Other songs such as Ed sheeren thinking out loud are slow and emotional and have a meaningful story behind it, Although its a calm song it is very popular with most generations not just teenagers.
