Evaluation question 4.
This is an Emaze depicting an evaluation of the different bits of hardware we used, including the stages we used them in.
Below is a PowToon regarding the different software we used through the entire creation process, and a review of them.
Evaluation question 3.
What have you learnt from your audience feedback?
When trying to hear our feedback from the audience, we created different things to be able to help us gather all the feedback, one of the first we created was a questionnaire asking questions about the music video, digipak, and website.
We asked many different people about our video once they had watched it the whole way through. We made a questionnaire that was suitable to why
After deciding on our target audience being primary secondary or tertiary. We interviewed a few people asking questions about the music they listen too and similar questions.
We also created two different questionnaires for our audience to answer. We took into consideration the feedback that we got back from the questionnaire both online and on paper and this is what we come back with
We made many different questionnaires to try and get as much feedback as possible from our target audience. We made another questionnaire on the program fluid surveys that helped us to make a good quality questionnaire to be able to get exact answers from our audience.
Here are some of the answers we received.
When looking at the answers we recieved from this feedback questionnaire it helped us to see what our audience liked and disliked about our video. As you can see when looking at the feedback from these particular questionnaires many people have gave us a score that shows they liked our music video. Near enough everyone said that they're favorite part was the performance shots of Nick. Some people said they didn't have a least favorite bit in our music video, Other bits that were said as least favorite were the horse shots.
Another way we asked our audience about our music video was by interviewing them. We interviewed one person from our primary secondary and tertiary audience,
The questions that were asked were,
How old are you?
What sort of music do you enjoy listening to?
What genre do you think our music video is?
What did you like about our music video?
What do you think we could improve in our video?
What would you rate our music video out of 10?
How we take our criticism
- The criticism that we got from the music video was a lot to do with the constant bike riding. Some people really enjoyed this but others thought it was too much. As some people enjoyed the bike riding we kept this because it went with our choice of song, and went well with the rest of the video.
- Other criticism that we got was for the digipak. This was because it had a constant blue color effect throughout it all. As a group we really liked the blue effect as it was something we all decided on. As other people said they liked our colour scheme we decided to keep it.
Over all our feedback gave us a lot of help towards our music video. This made us make the fans more happy and make the new music artist come out better because we knew what our target audience were looking for.
Evaluation question 2
We wanted to make sure that we marketed our artist successfully which we did by the use of the 5 Os to as a base across all our texts. We wanted to show the type of artist Nicholas Alexander is through our products which is why we went for a light blue tint on all of them with white text to show that the music is quite calm but interesting at the same time as blue is a calm colour.
Synergy
It is vital for an up and coming artist to try and make themselves stand out from the crowd because of the massive amounts of competition out there which makes it difficult to break through. Which is why tried to effectively make a highly stylized and synergistic marketing campaign to make a solid and unique brand for Nicholas Alexander so he can be easily recognized and remembered.

I analysed mainstream male artists Ed Sheeran and Ben Howard marketing campaigns as Nicholas Alexander is from the same genre.
How we incorporated synergy into our marketing campaign
Below is a mind map of how our main three areas for marketing use synergy to show our artist image through image and the information on them.
I found it easy to connect the digipack and website as I would use the blue tint and font across both. I was also vital to have nick at the centre of attention across all pages making so everyone knows who he is and adds synergy across all pages.
Social Media
Artists in the music Industry and becoming more reliant on social media to connect with there fans and keep them up to date which is why I thought it vital that we create an Facebook, Twitter and Instagram page. We can use these pages to share our new single, album and website.- We used the unedited front cover of the album across all the social media platforms to create memorability and thus synergy between them
- We also inserted links to other social media platforms on each network, but not every network had links to every other network, and in hindsight, I would've included a social media bar on all of her online marketing materials.
Synergy can be established not only through visualisation but through providing the the same information though out your marketing campaign. We was heavily influenced by Ed Sheeran and Ben Howard by the way they set out their album covers using tints and bold white font which has been successful for them so we incorporated into our marketing campaign.
Colour scheme
Wanted to have the blue tint across all aspects of our marketing as that was our unique selling point. Blue is often known as a boys colour which is why it is suitable for Nicholas Alexander. We would maybe chance some of the font on the album cover to make it easier to read or tone down the blue a bit to give it a more professional edge.
Iconography
For our iconography we made nick the centre of everything as we thought it important as he is the artist. We also used our locations to make it interesting and unique as well. We decided to do this because its important that everyone knows who nick is and that its not the same every time which is why cool locations make it interesting.
